Minnesota forward out from the shadows

This time last year Zeke Naji was a relative unknown on the regional radar, with no offers and very little to no notoriety. That all changed after his solid play during the EYBL season and his performance at Nike Top 100.  Nnaji has emerged as one of the top prospects in Minnesota's 2019 class as more coaches have been able to soak up his physical attributes and skill set.

The Lakeville forward has become a high major forward recruit for good reason. The athletic, stretch forward position has become one of the premier positions as it has evolved on the higher levels of collegiate and NBA basketball.  Nnaji is the prototype, natural face up forward with touch from the perimeter, the ability to make plays from the high post and straight line drive finishes.  He has good athleticism, energy to work the glass and defend with a 7'0" plus wingspan, broad shoulders and a solid frame. Nnaji can impact the game on both sides of the court and able to guard multiple positions.

Nnaji stock has gained traction with as coaches have made the rounds since early September. He has heavy Big Ten interest from home state Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconson, Nebraska and Purdue. Other programs showing interest have been Stanford, Xavier, Butler and Creighton. He has received offers from Wisconson, Creighton and Nebraska over the last six weeks and should have much more by the end of the school season.
