Elite14 Showcase Part I

Great talent pool at this year's Texas Elite14 Showcase one of the premier season opening events of the Texas high school season with over 30 college coaches in attendance. Here's a look at some of the top performances and prospects from the event.

Miller Kopp 2018 6'7 SF Houston Christain TX

One of the most complete and skilled scoring wing prospects during the event was senior wing, Northwestern commit Miller Kopp. Kopp does everything well plays with energy, toughness and a natural competitiveness. Kopp looks primed to be a dominant force during this years 2018 Texas high school basketball season.

Drew Timme 2019 6'10 PF J.J. Pearce TX

One of the most skilled frontcourt prospects in the class. Drew Timme played at a high level. Timme is skilled, can score anywhere 17-feet in and has excellent footwork in the post. One of the top prospects in the state, Timme plays a  winning style of ball and will be counted on to lead J.J. Pearce this season. Timme has a host of high major offers including Kansas, Gonzaga, Baylor and Michigan State.

Jalen Wilson Denton 2019 6'8 SF Guyer, TX

Wilson shows a high level skill-set. He scored from anywhere on the court and was able to guard multiple positions on a high level. Wilson's upside is attributed to his skill, size and untarnished attitude. Wilson has multiple high major offers as well as a recent Kansas pickup. 

RJ Hampton 2020 6'5 G Little Elm TX 

With his combination of size, speed and athleticism, Hampton is one of the top guards nationally regardless of class He attacked the lane often and with his bounce able to finish among the trees. Hampton is a solid shooter and with his length, a defensive problem. 

De'Von Harmon 2019 6'2 PG Denton Guyer TX

Recent Oklahoma commit and UnderClassman All-American Alumni, Harmon was the driving force behind a talented Denton Guyer team. Few guards had the impact that Harmon had controlling the game with high decision making and defensive toughness. Harmon is a floor general who puts great pressure on opposing teams on both sides on the court. Harmon has great basketball IG, playmaking ability and leadership ability.

Avery Anderson 2019 6'2 PG Justin Northwest TX

Anderson has a combination of quickness, ball skills, playmaking and creativity in the open court thats tough to handle. He is one of the top lead guards in Texas's and holds multiple offers including in-state programs TCU, SMU and Texas A&M.

Jalon Clark 2018 6'6 SF Houston Christian 

The Texas A&M Corpus Christi commit played at a high level on both sides of the ball and made very few mistakes while playing with great energy. Clark knows his role and plays it well. Clark ran the court well and finished around the rim at the high rate.
