2020 SG Dwon Odom was the most dominant player on display. He was getting to the basket and finishing through contact. On the break he had a number of finishes above the rim. The most impressive part about this kid was seeing how much his jumper has improved. He was knocking down shots off the dribble and off the catch. Odom is going to be a guy to watch as he makes his transition to high school.
2021 5’8 PG Broc Tidwell continued to impress on day 2. He’s a guy that you want to have the ball in his hands when a bucket is needed. He was attacking the basket and knocking down shots when the defenders gave him space. This kid has a great motor on him.
2021 5’7 PG Mehki Carter was one of the smartest PGs on display during the camp. He was running the offense and putting his team in position to make the right plays. Carter has a good handle of the rock and he can get in the lane and score it. On the defensive side he’s a tough on-ball defender.
2020 6’0 F Will Anderson continued his dominance in the painted area. He was a man amongst boys on the boards and he finishes through contact. He moves well without the ball and he cuts hard off the drive.
2021 6’3 SF Camden Blount has a good IQ on the court and he was making all the right plays. He was aggressive on the glass and he runs the break well. Blount also displayed the ability to make plays using the dribble.
2023 5’0 PG Christian Burnette is another young guy who has a promising future. He is younger then most of the guys who attended the camp but he didn’t play like it. He can handle the ball and he has a nice hesitation move that helps him get in the lane, where he uses his soft touch to shoot a floater.
2020 6’1 F Josh Smith can put the ball on the floor and get in the lane where he scores it well. He also can knockdown the midrange shot from about 15ft out. He’s a good rebounder and he can make a good outlet pass to his streaking teammate.
2020 6’4 C Easton Davis is still getting used to his body and by the looks of it he will grow to be about 6’10. He was very active on the floor, has good hands, and has a nice touch around the basket.
2020 5’6 PG Eric Gaines showed that he can be a thief on defense. He was in his opponents pockets multiple times. On the offensive end he can handle it well. He has good court vision, an accurate passer, and he has good timing on his passes. He also has a nice stroke from deep.
