1st Annual Middle School Game

The 3rd Annual Underclassman All-American Game featured the first ever Middle School All American game featuring some of the top talent in the Southeast. The MVP of the West team was Jaden Bradley and the MVP of the East team was Domonik Henderson.

Here are a few of the standouts from the game:

2022 6’2 PG Jaden Bradley (B Maze Elite)  may have been the biggest stand out on the floor. He started the game on the East squad and was switched to the West at halftime to see if he could help the West squad get back in the game. This kid can go and he displayed that during this event. Bradley has an elite ability of changing directions and speed, defenders had a very tough time trying to stay in front of him. He had the rock on a tight string even in traffic. Bradley has a good feel for the game and can get to any spot on the floor using the dribble. He can also score on all levels. Watch out for this kid because he’s going to be something special. Bradley had 16 points for the game, 8 on the East side and 8 on the West side.

2022 SG Bj Edwards (B Maze Elite) was another guard with a high IQ on the floor. He was one of the more efficient scorers on the court. He doesn’t do too much with the ball and he attacks immediately off the catch. Edwards has soft touch on his shot and can shoot the ball well from distance. Edwards led all scorers with 15 points for the game.

2022 SG Domonik Henderson (Georgia Go Hard) came out looking to prove a point and he did just that. South Georgia gets overlooked a lot when it comes to basketball and he came to make sure that wasn’t the case this time. Henderson plays the game with a consistent motor on both sides of the floor. He is quick and athletic which allows him to be able to blow past most defenders and finish. This kid has a good handle, can create for himself and others. On the defensive end he plays excellent help side defense and he even had one chase down block. You don’t want to overlook this kid. Henderson finished with 12 points for the game.

2022 6’5 SF Dj Nix (B Maze Elite) can play on the perimeter or in the post. He took bigger defenders to the basket using the bounce and he played in the post against smaller defenders. Nix reminded me of Draymond Green the way he can get the board and push the break. He finishes around the basket and he can also step out and knock down the long range shot.  Nix finished with 12 points for the game.

2022 SG Zocko Littleton (Georgia Stars) can shoot lights out from deep. He can handle the ball and create space to get his shot off. When the ball leaves his hands you can see the reactions of defenders as it looks good every time. Littleton shoots it well of the catch and dribble. Little knocked down 3 triples and finished with 11 points for the game.

2022 6’5 Miokaye Grant (Game Elite) runs the floor well and can finish above the rim in transition. Grant also displayed the ability to shoot the deep ball. One thing that might have went unnoticed from Grant during this game was his ability to handle the ball at his size. He’s another big that can grab the board and push the break.

2022 6’10 C Handje Tamba (B Maze Elite) finished with just 6 points but he showed major potential. Tamba has good hands and is aggressive on both sides of the boards. He’s a rim protector and he can run the floor. Be on the lookout for this kid to continue to grow his game.

2022 5’10 PG Morgan “Tre” Wright III (A.O.T) had a good showing in the second half of the ball game. He displayed a great passing ability and court vision. He also showed that he can spot up and knock down the open perimeter shot. He’s aggressive on defense and he plays in the passing lane. Wright finished with 11 points for the game.
