Makes loud statement at Pangos and NBAPA Top100

Their have been some outstanding players to come out of Georgia dating back to the likes of Walt Frazier (Puma recently offered a lifetime contract} to our most recent All-Americans Wendell Carter. EJ Montgomery and Collin Sexton

With his dominating play at the Pangos All-American camp, Anthony Edwards has served notice that in a loaded class of 2020 guards he's aiming for the top spot. In a recent article from Grassrootshoops.net  coming out of Pangos, he was named as the camps top player.

I spoke to several evaluators who had a cursory grasp of his talents prior to Pangos that came away with a high appreciation for his talents and upside, feeling he can be a cemented top 5 player in 2020 with a chance to shoot at the top spot.

Edwards can create his own shot off the bounce, score in the paint utilizing his strength and athleticism, hurt you with his mid-range and improved three ball as well as an underrated passer. Edwards understands that the work never stops and he has to continue to sharpen each of those skills.

One of the catalyst to his development is coach and mentor Winfred Jordan."one of the better scorers I've seen in the state of Georgia". Jordan, an Atlanta native, has seen alot ot basketball over the year and when asked about players he coached he stated "Edwards is the best I've coached since Anjuan Wilderness".  If you dont remember that name, "he's better than former first rounder Javaris Crittendon at same stage because of his shot".

Jordan states that Edwards is a very humble and works hard to improve all aspects of his game. "We are constantly in the gym working on all aspects of his game".

Edwards continued his high level play to the NBPA Top100 Camp this week, finishing as camps leading scorer and earning All-Camp honors. The work continues.
