Isaac Okoro has made a name for himself with his relentless style of play on both ends of the floor. The 6-6 WF is the glue that makes AOT and McEachern HS go and does what's needed to make them one of the best teams in the EYBL and Georgia.

That mentality is surely a reason why he was selected to represent the USA this summer, after falling short last year. "I learned in order to make the team I had to get out of my comfort zone and do the little things right", stated Okoro when asked about his previous unsuccessful attempt at making the team in 2017.

"I will fill whatever role the coaches need but I think my toughness, hustle and competitiveness will be valuable", said Okoro when asked what he brought to this years USA team.

I consider Okoro one of the best defensive players in the country, with his athleticism, able to guard multiple positions, a skill that is highly sought in this age of switching defenses and versatility thats needed on the international scene. "The toughest player I had to guard was recent lottery selection, Collin Sexton", said Okoro. "His quickness and versatility was challenging", he continued.

This summer is big for Okoro, after his stint with USA and the hopes of another gold, his AOT team will be competing for the EYBL Championships. "I think it will he tough but we have a good chance of winning if we continue to play team ball". AOT has the league's second best record behind Team Takeover and is an obvious favorite with Sharife Cooper, BJ Boston, Babatunde Akingbola and Jared Jones as his running mates.
